In 2023 we were asked to build the center bar island from the cantina in Star Wars for a local event. With a very short deadline we were able to just get it presentable in time for the main event. They requested that we split the bar in half, lengthwise so it could be set up against a wall in two halves. We liked this idea and decided to make the island in 4 quarters which turned out to be a good idea for transport between venues. The wonderful thing about this modular design is that it can either be set up against a wall in two halves like at this event or we can bolt the 4 halves together for a free standing display.
