Starlord Helmet ~ Wearable
In 2017 we were given the opportunity to build a wearable version of this mask for a performer. This was after we had built a static display piece in 2016, which we are very grateful for both opportunities. The helmet is from the film “Guardians of the Galaxy”, worn by Peter Quill or ‘Star-Lord’, the main character of the film. The process that we used for this particular piece was sort of a transitional method for us where we weren’t 3D printing too many items as finished pieces at the time so we 3D printed our master and then made a mold for casting the finished item in fiberglass. This was also in case more pieces were requested.
