Starlord Helmet ~ Static Display
In 2016 we were given the opportunity to build a static display replica of a helmet from the movie “Guardians of the Galaxy”, for which we are very grateful. This was the helmet that was worn by Peter Quill or ‘Star-Lord’, the main character of the film. The process that we used for this particular piece was sort of a transitional method for us where we weren’t 3D printing too many items as finished pieces at the time so we 3D printed our master and then made a mold for casting the finished item in fiberglass. This was also in case more pieces were requested.
