In 2007 we embarked on creating this costume from scratch. This was prior to the now widespread use of 3D modeling and printing methods so we utilized traditional methods by sculpting some master forms in clay and hand fabricating other forms with wood, metal, and resin. We were even contacted by a licensed manufacturer of the costume in 2014 where they utilized our pieces as “prototypes”.
