In conjunction with D&A Electronics we will be creating a section on our projects page for electronics.

For starters we have put together this nifty electronics kit that will work with a Transport Driver costume.

We attended Sun City SciFi convention in El Paso Texas, March 14-16.

We showcased our full sized replica of a portion of Jabba's Palace, with Han Solo in Carbonite.

We were excited to see our friend Ray Park, who played Darth Maul.

We attended the annual "Hauntings At The Hangar" event
at the Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver Colorado.

We have been attending this event since it started, which I believe has been 9 years so far.

This year we decided to have a little fun.  Like our new look?

May 31 - June 2, 2013:

Far Away Creations and crew attended Denver Comic Con.

61,000 attendees!  Wow!  The place was insane.

Thanks everyone for coming to visit us, say hi, and take some pictures on our sets.  We displayed our Jabba's Palace / Han in carbonite set as well as debuting our landspeeder.

August, 2012

The gang makes the trek from Colorado to Orlando Florida for Star Wars Celebration VI.



We finished the extra props and walls (minus the Taun Taun and Jerba heads) for the Jabba's Palace set and we set it up for the 501st to use at their private party (501st bash).  After the bash we moved it to the 501st experience room at the Convention Center for the rest of the weekend.

We attended the 2nd annual Albuquerque Comic Expo
After having such an incredible time in 2011 and with the incredible hosts, how could we resist?

We (mostly) finished our new full scale, replica movie set and it made its debut at Starfest, which is a local Sci-Fi convention in Denver, Colorado. 

As members of the 501st costuming organization, we were excited to put the set on display in order to help raise funds for Noah Warden, a little boy who is in need of a service dog.
